LYRICS: Feeling like mans fresh out the barbers Skin faded all the drama Me no wanna ponder or wander So man just linger no longer I'm gonna build up a fence make defences stronger Rebuttals come in many forms such as double entendres Even triple Been used to taking shots The feeling it tickles Only a likkle I just shake it off my feelings don't cripple A big mans tears never trickles Keep it g never in pickles Life giving middle finger missiles man maneuver and swivels You hear my silence it sizzles The thoughts I think never fizzles My mind just fiddle with riddles My dogs my in needing some kibble Just a little nibble Dibble dabbled still fighting those battles Whittled by shackles The ghost of past events cackles And thunder it crackles A villainous jackal Got man fearing to Don't meam to prattle I hope you not rattled See me I be fine I'm hoping I'm destined to shine Applications so far declined I know that preparation in combination opportune time at your destination

about

Walls Of A Cocoon (WOAC) is a reflective conceptual project addressing some thoughts, walls and obstacles that have been on my mind for quite some time. Inspired by To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar (especially the poem at the very end of Mortal Man), I wanted to tell an ever growing story with the butterfly analogy in a different light. The incubation cocoon state. Another thing I wanted to try was a jazzy, funky, hip-hop sound I felt the UK has not explored, trying sounds that are more experimental and sonically different to the norm. WOAC is my first project with varying song styles, many of which are outside my comfort zone like doing melodies, singing (I wouldn't call myself a singer), and working on how to write captivating yet meaningful hooks.
